AI Scheduling Voice Assistant
This project introduces a new branch of a long-established patient communication platform by integrating AI-driven features. These enhancements aim to modernize the existing messaging product, improve office efficiency, and deliver a more responsive communication experience between dental practices and their patients.
Challenges
Facing feature limitations with a tight timeline, our goal is to deliver a product that provides immediate value, while also creating a foundation that can seamlessly support future enhancements. Working within an established interface and brand identity, the design builds on customers’ existing familiarity with the software, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience.
Deliverable: Self-Service Sign-Up
As part of this update, the product will support self-service onboarding, enabling customers to sign up and configure the AI features directly within the existing interface. This self-service model aligns with a product-led growth strategy, ensuring easier adoption and faster time to value for both new and existing users.
Deliverable: Personalized Configuration
Users will be able to configure key settings independently, such as call forwarding and other communication preferences, to tailor the platform to their office workflows.
Deliverable: Voice Transcripts
Conversation transcripts provide full visibility into how the AI interacts with patients, increasing client confidence. The interface mirrors the familiar text message inbox, allowing users to navigate the feature without learning new functionality while enabling faster development and integration. The call inbox presents transcripts in a conversation-style format, with options to download transcripts and access existing patient information—including previous text records, insurance details, and recent appointments.
